A typical Hatha yoga class focuses on the alignment of the body and the breath through a series of asanas (poses). The term Hatha is a combination of two Sanskrit words - "Ha" meaning sun and "Tha" meaning moon. It refers to the physical practices of the yoga tradition.

Matwork Pilates

Beginner & All Level Classes

Pilates has a focus on the core which aids in improving the posture and preventing back & neck pain. It also teaches you to balance the body, if practiced regularly, it creates length and strength and an increase in

flexibility.

Vikasa

Level: Adv. Beginner & Up

Vikasa means evolution or spiritual development. This gives rise to the concept behind vikasa yoga; everything evolves, constantly changing, including ourselves. The Vikasa Yoga style is an ever evolving process, integrating traditional Hatha and modern movements from different disciplines, with a large focus on increasing both physical and internal strength and awareness. Vikasa yoga is about challenging yourself with an ever evolving program in order to balance, transform and discover your true self.

Vinyasa Slow Flow

All Levels Welcome

Our Slow Flow classes are light and creative, but slower paced and gentle. Postures are generally held for longer periods, and the transitions

between poses are a little slower

Yoga Sculpt

Level: Adv. Beginner & Up

Yoga sculpt has a strong focus on strength and intensity. What sets yoga sculpt apart from other intense workouts? Like all yoga classes, has a mental and emotional focus. Not only do these classes strengthen your body, but they also strengthen and challenge your mind.

Elemental Flow

Restorative Yoga

All levels welcome

Restorative Yoga balances a fast lifestyle and has an enormous capacity to heal physical and mental symptoms that are stress related.

It is a form of yoga that seeks to achieve physical, mental and emotional relaxation with the aid of props. The use of props makes it easier for you to maintain balance while you are stimulating and relaxing your body.

Many restorative yoga poses are similar to normal yoga poses, except that they are performed with the support of props. A typical class may only involve 5-8 poses, these poses are often held for 5 mins or longer.

Meditation

All Levels Welcome

Guided meditation is a form of stress relief that is conducive to relaxing the whole body, in part by finding a way of peaceful and calming relaxation from within the body. Guided meditation may utilize soothing photographs or scenarios to enhance the ability of the mind to relax and guide the body to a point of relaxation so that the person in meditation can find a true sense of inner peace. Quite often, guided meditation will

be accompanied by soft music or sounds of nature.
